Kevin McKeown Takes Charge as New Provincial Coordinator

The BC Heritage Fairs Society is very happy to announce that Kevin Dale McKeown will be the new provincial coordinator.

Kevin comes to the Heritage Fairs with a background in cultural journalism, magazine and newspaper editing, festival and performing arts marketing, and special event management. Most recently he served seven years as the communications and community engagement director for the BC Alliance for Arts + Culture, where he edited the organization’s weekly newsletter, oversaw media relations, advocacy, and community engagement initiatives, and was managing producer of the arts and culture community’s annual Arts Summit and co-producer of the City of Vancouver Mayor’s Arts Awards.

The BCHFS is thankful for the conscientious and dedicated work of interim coordinator Becky Burns. Becky will continue to support the Society as she returns to her position as a director.

You can reach Kevin here.
